‘Thumbs up’ to Simon Johnson, Lorne Stewart’s Senior Project Manager and his team, who took the lead in implementing the pilot scheme which started in October 2019 and since then, former NHS Nurse Kim Watson from Workplace Health MOTs Ltd, has held sessions offering confidential 20-minute health checks every month.
To date, 81 operatives have been assessed for: BMI, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol and Diabetes. Confidential chats on health and lifestyle issues including, mental health, stress, age, gender and ethnicity are also on the agenda.
As well as reinforcing our strong relationship and Health & Safety culture with our client, Balfour Beatty, the initiative has encouraged operatives and site staff to make lifestyle changes to improve their health. Checks are performed confidentially and sensitively and advice and information is provided.
We have become aware that unknown third parties have been impersonating individuals and a company in the Lorne Stewart Group, using the website www.lsrmholdings.uk and @lsrmholdings.uk email addresses.
Whilst LSRM Holdings Limited is a Lorne Stewart Group company, that website and associated email addresses are not affiliated with the Lorne Stewart Group and are suspected to be part of a scam. Anyone contacted using those details should exercise extreme caution, not share any information and report the matter to the Police.
