The building is formed in 4 interconnecting blocks.

This Grade II listed building has been converted from the old Town Hall and Magistrates Court into 125 new apartments. The £6.7 million project involved the demolitions and strip out, remodelling and refurbishment of the existing building to form single bed studios and 1 & 2 bed apartments, whilst maintaining the character of the new listed building and providing a new roof top extension to form further living space along with the provision for the new X1 Manchester Office, residents gym and retail space.

A new development on a confined site just outside Bournemouth City Centre providing high quality student accommodation comprising of 378 en-suite rooms arranged in three buildings together with communal services and facilities. Lorne Stewart were appointed to undertake the full design development from outline design and employers requirements. We acted as a constructive partner and developed a neat solution dovetailing the building services discreetly into the building envelope without compromising access for maintenance. The construction phase was completed on time and defect free.

The renovation of Cambridge’s oldest hotel has involved a comprehensive refurbishment of the interiors and the implementation of leading classical architect John Simpson’s scheme to replace the unattractive 1960s and 1970s extensions with attractive new classical buildings dramatically enlarging the hotel and giving Cambridge its much-needed world class hotel with excellent new rooms, a destination restaurant, bar, gym and conference facilities. This mix new build and refurbishment work was delivered over 192 bedrooms, 8 split levels and in 75 weeks.
